Project:
  • Make up Air Replacement
Objectives:
  • Remove 3 existing make up air systems.
  • Existing units were in disrepair.
  • Existing units were heat only make up systems.
  • Furnish and install 2 new make up air systems with comparable CFM of the existing 3 systems.
  • Add cooling to the new system to provide additional comfort to the main cooks line.
Results:
  • After replacing these systems, the air flow relating to exhaust and make up air is now in balance. The systems are operating more efficiently. The addition of cooling is a welcome change, providing relief for the kitchen staff.
Bottom Line:
  • The negative air pressure no longer exists within the building.
  • The comfort level has been increased.
  • Repair cost and down time have been eliminated.
